We All Screams for Ice Cream [ORIGINAL RECORDINGS REMASTERED]

We All Screams for Ice Cream [ORIGINAL RECORDINGS REMASTERED] Review

Fred Waring was recognised as one of the most outstanding and dynamic personalities in American show business and even if, as has sometimes been suggested, he made no mark on music history, he certainly knew what middle-America wanted. Millions tuned in to his radio and television shows to hear the lavish choral arrangements performed by the fabulous Glee Club, supported by a talented group of musicians known as The Pennsylvanians. His was the common man's approach. "We don't sing music," he told a New York Times reporter, "we sing songs.

Fruitcake and Ice Cream (DVD+CD)

Fruitcake and Ice Cream (DVD+CD) Review

An Unlikely Collision of Friendship and Grace

The message heard by students around the world on the seventeen-city Passion World Tour

Sometimes the best things in life are those we're not even sure we're looking for at the time, but those we realize we can't live without in the end.

That's the story of Ashley, a somewhat typical college senior--loving life, partying hard and trying to balance it all with success in the classroom. Disengaged from God and turned off by most Christians she knew, unexpected events turned Ashley's world upside down and brought a new roommate for her final semester at the University of Florida. Unpolished, and marked by unscripted authenticity, Ashley's personal journal entries provide the backdrop for Fruitcake and Ice Cream, a message that breathes hope for the spiritually searching while providing a massive kick-start for those within the Church who carry the unrivaled story of God's grace and truth in a darkened world. Fruitcake and Ice Cream is the fourth talk in the Passion Talk Series and is available in a special CD/DVD combo pack.

This DVD contains a 53-minute, new talk from Louie Giglio with a message on God's amazing grace. The power of the cross is displayed as God's capacity to forgive outshines doubt and shame and reconciliation beckons all. Fruitcake and Ice Cream allows viewers to discover an unlikely collision of friendship & grace. The DVD will include a 5-song CD with songs selected to support the content of the talk with music by Chris Tomlin, David Crowder*Band and Matt Redman.

Fresh Live Cream

Fresh Live Cream Review

Cream's legendary status is extraordinary, given that the three musicians, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, were only together from 1966 to 1968. This music video collector's DVD tells the story of that intense period from Cream's inception as a blues band through psychedelia to their place in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rare archive performance footage of complete tracks (notably from their 1968 appearance at the Revolution Club in London) are linked by Ginger, Eric and Jack telling the story afresh in interviews filmed in April 1993 exclusively for this production. Songs: Spoonful, I Feel Free, Tales of Brave Ulysses, We're Going Wrong, Anyone for Tennis, Sunshine of Your Love, I'm So Glad, Politician, White Room, Toad.

Ice Cream [Vinyl]

Ice Cream [Vinyl] Review

UK seven inch vinyl pressing of the debut single from the Australian artist Muscles, lifted from his 2008 album Guns, Babes And Lemonade. Muscles' overenthusiastic Dance Pop works so well, it sounds like everything great about good old fashioned, non-pretentious Dance music cleverly disguising the sinister undertone of his lyrical content. `Ice Cream' speaks of teenage vulnerability on the streets. Muscles is sharp and observant, and manages to turn the issue of knife crime into sincere verse, intelligently wrapped up in a tantalizing Pop melody. Features 'Ice Cream' plus 'Dolphin'. Island.
